The IAME Series Germany season is heading into the home stretch. When the engines fire up on July 25 and 26 at the 1.3-kilometer Arena E in Mülsen, the third of four season rounds will be on the program. The karting talents are traveling to Saxony and want to give their all in the battle for championship points, podium places, and important positioning for the big season finale.
Things will be particularly exciting in the X30 Mini class. Championship leader Artem Kikireshko (Un1), who confidently won the first two season races and sits at the top of the table with 177 points, will not be competing in Mülsen. This opens up a great opportunity for his pursuers to make up ground or even take the lead. Vincent Oliver Rieso (FSR Performance) arrives as second place with 162 points and can jump to the top of the overall standings for the first time with a strong weekend. Fifth-place Benedikt Wetzel (TB Racing Team / 68 points) will also try to use the race to his advantage and could significantly close the gap to the leading group.
In the X30 Juniors, the championship duel is intensifying further. Semih Bektas (SH Kartsport) leads the table with 181 points by the narrowest of margins ahead of Ceyda-Linet Pirecioglu (KSL Racing Team), who trails by just two points. Every race, every position, and every point could therefore be decisive in Mülsen. Behind them, Max Wuller (KSL Racing Team / 186 points) and Lenn Göckmann (KSL Racing Team / 85) also want to close the gap to the two leaders and get back into the title race.
In the X30 Seniors class, the top trio from the season so far will meet once again. Emilio Bernd (VM Energy Corse Germany) travels to Mülsen as the leader with a strong 201 points and wants to further solidify his top position. But Joelina Denzel (TR-Motorsport / 157 points) and Daniel Brozovic (VM Energy Corse Germany / 130 points) will do everything they can to close the gap. With a total of 14 drivers, the Seniors class also has the largest field of participants for the weekend and promises particularly intense and exciting races.
Another highlight awaits in the Shifter Series Germany KZ2 class. There, the thrilling family duel between brothers Max and Lutz Ohsenbrink (both KSL Racing Team) continues. Max leads the championship with 166 points, Lutz follows with 153 points and is waiting for his chance. But no one should underestimate Eric Wess either. After his strong second place in the only season start so far in Wackersdorf, he travels to Mülsen with 95 points and can really heat up the battle for the championship with another top performance.
The race weekend in Mülsen also marks the penultimate season stop of the IAME Series Germany. After the halfway point, an important preliminary decision will now be made before the big season finale on September 19 and 20 in Ampfing decides the awarding of the championship titles. The conditions for a spectacular race weekend could hardly be better.
